Dr Damien Leclercq

managing director

With over 10 years of research and development work in the field of mechanical engineering, specialising in aeroacoustics, aerodynamics and fluid mechanics, Damien has gained experience across the automotive, airline and renewable energy industries in both France and Australia. He has spent his career at the interface between Industry and Research. Damien is the managing director of Cyclopic Energy Pty Ltd, where he draws on his industry knowledge and research expertise to provide advice on small scale wind energy projects, and develop novel wind turbine technologies.

Dr Rick Morgans

technical director

Rick has a strong background in engineering research and development, specialising in numerical modelling and optimisation. Over the past 12 years he has undertaken many projects developing innovative intellectual property for a wide range of industries. He has been awarded an international patent for a new range of loudspeaker designs. He is a founder and shareholder of Proen Design Australia, an industrial design company, and is a director of Cyclopic Energy Pty Ltd.

Shannon Mason

lead engineer, melbourne office

Shannon has Honours degrees in Aerospace Engineering and English Literature, with research experience in aeroacoustics, wave energy conversion, the short stories of Jorge Luis Borges, and CFD for the wind industry. He has recently relocated to Melbourne, and maintains Cyclopic Energy's presence there from our Market Street office.
