Our large-scale services provide a survey of the wind resource over a wide area, such as a municipality or farm, to suggest the promising sites for wind energy developments, and supply a first estimate of the wind resource.

A large scale model of an area up to 14 km square.

Model of terrain, vegetation, and built-up areas.

Suitable for modelling local municipal areas, farms, and parks.

flow simulation

Computation Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation of wind over the area in multiple directions.

Simulation models the wind resource losses over terrain, trees and buildings.

wind power density map

Produces maps of mean wind power density over all directions, at a range of heights above local ground level.

Can be used to give a first estimate of the most promising sites for a small wind power installation.
